What is POS

POS stands for Point of Sale. Historically, it may have been referred to as a 'till point', 'cash register', or simply 'Register'. Essentially, it is the interface that enables operational staff to process transactions.

What is POS Used For

BookNow's POS (Point of Sale) is the central system for all staff transactions. It handles various tasks, including processing sales, booking activities and events, sending orders to the kitchen or bar, accepting payments and issuing refunds, searching for and editing customer details, accessing customer booking history, reviewing customer waivers, and viewing customer relationship details.
