Phase 1: BookNow Team: Enabling Stock Management for Customers
- Assign the Inventory Management feature parameter to the customer through their license in the BookNow org
- Place Inventory Management component on staff site through the Builder.
- Add Inventory Management permissions to the page layout on the Employee Permission object
- Add Inventory Entitlement and Stock Flow to environment. Click here for the flows to install
Phase 1a: Customers: Update Employee Permissions
Each feature is behind a permission so you can ensure only the right employees have access to specific features, considering the ability to transfer data and view levels if you want users to undertake blind stock checks.
Phase 2: Adding Inventory and Applying to Site Locations
- Upload inventory items
- Inventory Item Name (Name)
- Item SKU (Bnow__Item_SKU__c)
- Inventory Category (Bnow__Inventory_Category__c)
- Batch Quantity (Bnow__Batch_Quantity__c)
- Single Measure Quantity (Bnow__Single_Measure_Quantity__c)
- Unit of Measure (Bnow__Unit_of_Measurement__c) (see available measures here)

NB When migrating existing customers ensure every inventory item has a batch size
- Use the Inventory Assignment flow to set up:
- Stock
- Inventory Entitlements for each location at each site you want to hold the stock
- Add Suppliers
